The Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) is investing $1.5 billion in zero-emission buses. Partner with ChargeLab for your DC fast charging infrastructure needs.
On October 1, 2020, Justin Trudeau announced $10 billion in new major infrastructure initiatives to create jobs and economic growth. The announcement included $1.5 billion to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission bus fleets. The government hopes the funding will directly lead to the adoption of 4,000 new zero-emission buses.
According to the CIB, transit and school bus operators can switch from diesel to electric fleets using CIB financing to cover the higher upfront capital costs of zero-emission buses and charging infrastructure.
ChargeLab is partnered with ABB to offer turnkey bus charging solutions in Canada. ABB provides industry-leading high voltage charging solutions, while ChargeLab provides best-in-class EV charger management software to optimize your fleet charging.
CID's investment in electric buses was recently announced. For updates on this program, visit the CIB's Growth Plan website or contact ChargeLab below.
